Driver Requirements
3 yrs min exp.
If less than 3 yrs, must meet the following criteria – Applicant HAS to have at least 12 months verifiable experience
1. Driven on a Farm, grew up in a truck
2. Driven during the winter months – lives in region with snow / adverse weather
3. Driven for a reputable company that we know trains their drivers, not just run them as a team
4. Driven in the mountains – company known to have routes through mountain areas
5. Has a clean MVR, no accidents, no incidents reported
6. 12 months experience still required – NO EXCEPTIONS
No more than 1 accident / incident in a 3 yr period
No Rollovers in a 5-yr period
Cannot hire if they have more than 2 DUI’s lifetime
Speeding tickets: within a 3-yr period
1. No tickets 15+ over the speed limit
2. No more that 4 speeding tickets within a 3-yr period
Other tickets and drivers enrolled in a SAP program will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
